Today's guest Ashley Simmons shares openly about her own experiences of being married to a talented, strong, and driven husband and what she's learned through more than two decades of ministry life. Ashley Simmons has been in ministry with her family for 23 years. After meeting her husband Tim at Central Bible College they began their life in ministry as youth pastors in Birmingham, AL. The Lord then opened a door in Fairhope, AL. After pastoring there for six years they moved to North Mississippi where they served on staff at a multi-site church (Life Fellowship/ now Compel Church) for seven years. Ashley served in several different capacities during her time there as Guest Services Director, Next Steps Director and Campus Coordinator. After a time of growth, the Lord opened an opportunity to go home.
They now have the privilege of serving at Coastal Church in Daphne, AL. Ashley's role is Coastal Counseling Coordinator and Coastal Women's Director. She has two beautiful children who have been the center of her calling as a mother. Cole is 20, he attends Mississippi College in Clinton, MS as a Pre-Med student and Kennedy, 18, attends Highlands College in Birmingham, AL studying Biblical Studies and is a part of the Worship Leaders practicum. Ashley has recently entered a new stage of "empty nester".
